Marfa's Case

Marfa Rabkova, a dedicated third-year student of International Law at the European Humanities University in Lithuania, has been unjustly imprisoned in Belarus since September 17, 2020.

As a coordinator for the Volunteer Service at Human Rights Center Viasna, she bravely monitored nationwide protests against President Alexander Lukashenko's fraudulent re-election, which sparked mass demonstrations across the country.

On that fateful day, Marfa and her husband together with countless other students were arrested by authorities, and she has been held in Minsk Detention Center No. 1 ever since. Despite her nonviolent activism, she was sentenced to an astonishing 15 years in prison on September 6, 2022, following a closed trial filled with politically motivated charges.

Join us in demanding Marfa's immediate release and standing up for human rights in Belarus. Her courage inspires us all—let's ensure her voice is heard!
